The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to the community.
SASSA will likely be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency claimed it really is alarmed with regard to the superior amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The assistance point produced for intervention encounters a significant inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to permit the servicing of all consumers and enhance use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
